- Conducting a risk assessment: identifying hazards, evaluating risks, and implementing controls.

- OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926
- NFPA 70E
- IEC and IS standards (India-specific regulations).
- Employer and employee responsibilities under the Electricity Act, 2003.
